I’ve been trying to convince E-hentai (Bunch of CUNTS that they are) to allow the comic back. We are facing lots of opposition (they say that Yû looks like a shôta, “therefore the comic is shôta”; which is ridiculous). Would you go to the Forums and try to plead your case? I’ve been doing so, and Shadow Weaver is acting like a rude asshole; it almost makes me not wanna go to E-Hentai anymore…

Y’know what? I think you should try to post it on lu.scio.us (this and the other Insert comic – the one with Manami). They’d appreciate the comics, unlike the SOULLESS BASTARDS at e-hentai, who are not in the habit of re-instating a comic. I’ve called out Shadow Weaver and Maximum_Joe out (they’re the ones railing against the comic), and instead, I got jeers from several of the users there, telling me to kill myself (2 of them did). I’m losing any respect for the site that I had.

I spoke too soon. We’re not getting it closer to being re-instated at all. Last time I spoke it was at 39; now it’s at 56. The site are full of idiots.

I’ve asked that the comic be given an euthanasia, so to speak. I regret to say, that the tags have now gone up again — we are now at 84. Hence the expunging request, which I’m doing so with deep shame and regret. This shouldn’t happen to a good comic. FUCK E-hentai for this decision.

“I disagree with some tags” is not a reason to expunge a gallery for everyone else. If you find that shota tag impossible to stomach, simply don’t visit that damn gallery any more.

People in the past have been complaining to the advertiser that they’d been offended by a shota/loli/incest gallery on which displayed its ads, so the advertiser choice was to not sponsor anymore such kind of content. Be grateful that the exhentai ruse was possible at all (a banned-content parallel site paid for by the ads on the main site), as most other site operators would simply have removed the galleries outright. Me, I’ve just chosen to give the site owner 20$, so no more banners for me (the AdsBeGone perk can also be obtained for free by running Hentai@Home), and all galleries – even fjorded ones – are visible in one place.

Sorry but I can see why they didn’t take your arguments seriously in that forum, because you didn’t appear to consider for a moment the “appearance is the deciding factor” counter-argument*. From your comments here and that thread, you seem to think that your opinion should carry more weight that that of others.
IMO you fail to understand that since everybody can tag things, the presence of a tag only means that someone thinks that gallery falls under that category. BTW even if you managed to have the shota tag removed this time (and your “I’m right and you’re all wrong” attitude didn’t help there), nothing would bar somebody else adding that tag back in the future, so your crusade is basically worthless unless you’re willing to police that gallery yourself PM’ing taggers to remove their wrong tag.

* This is not due to an arbitrary choice, but because LAWS ARE WRITTEN THAT WAY. When a number of legislatures around the world have enacted laws on cartoon porn in the past years, they’ve used a wording to the effect “if it looks underage it’s considered underage” to counter the loophole of “the character is a 9000-years-old catgirl, so even if she looks 8 this is not lolicon”. Note that I’m not advocating that it should be this way, but I’m just choosing to deal with reality as it is instead of fighting with windmills.

Great post by Anonymous above me. I think you’ve gone about this all wrong Franco and that shota tag is now at 99. We would never have gotten that tag voted up so high unless you had gone batshit crazy on the forums and I fear future work might get voted down everytime now just because there are people on those forums that wants to troll you.

If you’ve not been with the news, here it is: I failed to get the comic reinstated, and I’ve been banned from the forums… just as I was planning a truce. I have to say, I have never seen such brown-nosing anywhere except that site. They don’t want to see the truth. They’d rather believe that this comic is Shota. When I tried to say what you (Anonymous-Scanner) said, I was laughed at. I cannot believe that it would come to this. I ask that any mention of E-Hentai be stopped, and that the site be boycotted. They’ll pay dearly for this miscarriage of justice.
