Bang-You’s “Weaponless Catch”

One of the issues with a system that allows voting to alter attributes of user uploaded data, is that it is very easy for incorrect information to get propagated.  As an example, this upload of mine on e-hentai got renamed to C79… DESPITE ME BUYING IT IN JULY.  Besides that, it came out BEFORE C77.  Yeah, I guess someone looked at the upload date rather than the published date.  Yep, gotta love idiots.

Anyway, here’s a new C79 scan; all Bang-You for the win.  Enjoy!

“As an example, this upload of mine on e-hentai got renamed to C79… DESPITE ME BUYING IT IN JULY. Besides that, it came out BEFORE C77.”

That’s almost as bad as certain people blindly labeling scans as C79 just because they bought them at the convention, even though they are reprints of old releases.

Anyway, the publication date makes it look to me like it was released at C77. If you bring it up in the thread linked below, the people there will assist you in correcting it.

12/11 is before C77, so it shouldn’t have that label either. Just because C77 was the first event it was likely sold at doesn’t matter; it would have been available on Toranoana beforehand.

The 12/11 date is simply the date the postscript was written, and I don’t see it listed on Toranoana at all. The publication date is right there. 2009-12-31

But w/e. I don’t care about convention tagging at all.

Oops, didn’t look that closely.

I don’t care about event tagging EXCEPT when it is done stupidly. Like putting it at the front of the folder name. Like e-hentai prefers for some idiotic reason.

We all know I think that E-Hentai is run by blithering idiots. These bozos pretend there’s a difference between Asian porn and any other kind of porn. As a Mod on well-established site, I use E-Hentai as a graphic example of how NOT to run a website. My favourite is the insanity of allowing one or two morons, simply by virtue of their having been hanging around the site for ages, to stick a garbage tag on anything they don’t personally like. Oh yes, and it’s also a site where one of the vigilantes is a serious bigot.
